Does exactly what it says on the (comic book) tin. Loved it.
  • Little Miss Sunshinerating
Very funny, disturbing (the beauty pageant) and completely messed up -- but in a good way.
  • Laputa: Castle in the Skyrating
Story great, characterization a little on the weak side -- though the big robots are cool.
  • Porco Rossorating
    Stylish, funny, exciting.
  • Grave of the Firefliesrating
Very sad, which was a little unexpected since I didn't know much about it before watching it. Can be a little too slow in places though, otherwise it's very good.
  • Nausicaä of the Valley of the Windrating
The story can get a little dense at times what with the various factions, but still really enjoyable, inventive and engaging.
  • X-Men: The Last Standrating
Opportunity, talent, money - all blown. Over 3 films X-Men has hinted of something great that could have been, this last one says "No, sorry - not going to happen". Bah.

ADSL Broadband Donaghadee

According to the BT Broadband page Donaghadee just needs another 97 people to sign up for ADSL to be activated in the area. I know this because I read The Sweem.

It also appears I am on the distance limit of ADSL, so even if the exchange was updated I wouldn't get it. Pfft.

SWAT Signals Explained

I laughed, then I laughed some more. SWAT Signals Explained.

And if you ever need to, How to Catch a Lion on the Desert, via Wesley, about 10 years ago... (what happened to the Einstein method? Run fast, Lion gets heavy and tired, put Lion in bag?)

A billion?

Is this, $100,793,793.39, 1 billion? Or is it 1,000,000,000.00? I don't know, big numbers always did confuse me. But anyway, $100,793,793.39 is my total worth on BlogShares.

Humming bird hawk moth

I think Andy J should be the top ranked page for the Humming Bird Hawk Moth. Who agrees with me?

NB. I hate moths, and if I see this big beast I'll either run like a girl or knock the thing for six.

O'Neills Bar an' Bistro, Belfast

Lunch with Marc good, photographs of event bad. Don't order the Tuna and Pasta Special from O'Neills - it's minging. And small. Merely alerted me to my hunger.

Sony DSC-P72

For my birthday I recieved a nice digital camera with a 256Mb Memory Stick Pro. Can't beat it with an ordinary wooden stick. And it takes MPEGs too, what a bonus. Having been away for (exactly) one month some things have become clear to me, the only blog worth reading is Marc's, Slugger is actually news and comment on some other country and finally I'd rather just put photos up and never say another word...
