And a Happy Christmas to you, too, and I hope our planned meeting in the New Year comes off. Been a while since I have seen you, man.

Stay cool. (And you throw like a girl.)

Nothing wrong with throwing like a girl. /me thwacks Marc on the back

/me is not worried by the Joanne snowball, as it hit with all the force of, well, a snowball thrown by a girl.

“Stay cool Willy C, stay cool forever man.”

That’s pretty much how Beautiful Girls ends, my favourite film ever.

Merry Christmas, I’m loving your new side-banner!

We’re moving to your neck of the woods (well sort of, to that island next door anyways but closer to you than to mwk) in February so maybe I’ll drop by and throw a snowball in person. (details to come once C hands in his resignation at work and everything’s formalized, but I’m far too excited to keep my mouth shut).

Really? w00t! Congrats and all.

I sense a meeting at some juncture next year then.

Huzzah! Haggis all round! Unless you meant Iceland, in which case, wind dried puffin all round!

mwk said on Sat 18 Dec at 08:26:

Like you wouldn’t beat a path to Iceland in a blink…

And Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you Sir! :)

Definately no puffin, we’re not quite that brave! We’re off to Aberdeen in February, and I’ll start work in March. (because Cory’s work is never going to surf their way here). And I’ve heard that there’s going to be direct flights from Aberdeen to Belfast in the near future, so I’m sure I’ll be over to visit my cousins pretty quick (okay and get a mom-cooked meal).

Does exactly what it says on the (comic book) tin. Loved it.
  • Little Miss Sunshinerating
Very funny, disturbing (the beauty pageant) and completely messed up -- but in a good way.
  • Laputa: Castle in the Skyrating
Story great, characterization a little on the weak side -- though the big robots are cool.
  • Porco Rossorating
    Stylish, funny, exciting.
  • Grave of the Firefliesrating
Very sad, which was a little unexpected since I didn't know much about it before watching it. Can be a little too slow in places though, otherwise it's very good.
  • Nausicaä of the Valley of the Windrating
The story can get a little dense at times what with the various factions, but still really enjoyable, inventive and engaging.
  • X-Men: The Last Standrating
Opportunity, talent, money - all blown. Over 3 films X-Men has hinted of something great that could have been, this last one says "No, sorry - not going to happen". Bah.
