On BBC1 tonight whilst the announcer fella was leading into the Jonathon Ross show there was the normal BBC1 NI ident on the bottom left of the screen - “BBC1 NI” - on a green background. On the bottom right was an extra ident, a white box with a cross of St George that read “Nil”. Which made me laugh.
(Then I went and had a look at the BBC NI forums and saw all the usual anti-Northern Ireland high level political discussion that I’m not smart enough to understand, and that sort of took the shine of it.)
