This is post 1100. In the year 1100 William II King of England died in a hunting accident, checkers was invented and Baldwin I became King of Jerusalem. In 1100 Europe looked something like this. When I was littler my dad had an 1100 Katana. £1100 is approximately how much I paid for my car and it’s insurance a few days ago. 1100 is binary for 12 - quite the number is 12 I can tell you (but will leave to wikipedia). I’d tell you what 1100 represents in octal and hexadecimal but we don’t want to even entertain the risk of you falling asleep during this whistle stop tour of the number 1100.
1100 is the model number of one of my home laser printers, it’s made by Hewlett Packard and it’s quite old. The top search for 1100 on Amaazon is Sir Gawain and The Green Knight, a book I own but have not yet finished. At 1100 hours today I will be enjoying a cup of tea and possibly a biscuit if I can find one. Flicking to Tolkein’s Universe you’ll see that in the 1100th year of the First Age Melkor was chained, and boy, should they have kept those chains on him.
I think we can all agree that 1100 is truely a special number.

Yes but, all together now, 3, is a magic number.
